The Mountain Garrison, officially est. Aug 2001, is a part of the 501st Legion, one the world's premiere Star Wars costuming organization. Our organization covers both Colorado and Wyoming with members ranging from Pueblo, to Casper and Grand Junction, to Bennet. Bringing joy and partnership to local communities for fans young and young at heart. The Mountain Garrison also partners with our other local Star War Clubs. We are all one large Star Wars family and we conduct events together as one. Our Partners:

• Snowy Range Squad
  Covering Wyoming and following Colorado Counties:
  Jackson, Larimer, Weld, Logan, Sedgwick, Phillips,Grand, Boulder, Morgan, Washington and Yuma
• Mile High Squad
  Covering the following Colorado Counties:
  Adams, Arapahoe, Clear Creek, Douglas, Jefferson, Elbert, Lincoln*, and Kit Carson
• Pikes Peak Squad
  Covering the following Colorado Counties:
  Park, Teller, El Paso, Lincoln*, Cheyenne, Fremont, Pueblo, Crowley, Kiowa, Custer, Otero, Bent, Prowsers, Huerfano, Las Animas and Baca
• Western Reaches Squad
  Covering the following Colorado Counties:

Nothing professes your passion quite like building your own detailed costume replica of a classic Star Wars villain, and there's nothing quite like the feeling that comes from bringing the characters of Star Wars into the real world and sharing the magic with others.

  We do not charge a fee for appearances (public or private). We do enthusiastically welcome donations made to one of our favorite charities in the name of our organization (The Alaskan Garrison).
• How do I contact the Mountain Garrison to attend my event?
  Click here to contact us for information about attending your event. We respectfully request a minimum of two weeks to plan for an event and prefer 8+ weeks in order to have maximum participation.
• How can I join the Mountain Garrison and the 501st Legion?
  Do you have a passion for Star Wars and helping others? Do you own a professional-quality costume based on "bad guy" characters from Star Wars? Are you at least 18 years old? • Are there any obligations that come with joining the 501st?
  Aside from having a screen accurate costume, we ask that you troop at least once a year to maintain active status. Of course, we always welcome and encourage our members to troop far more than once a year! In Mountain Garrison, we recognize our members' efforts via a troop tracker and a patch rocker program.
• Do you do birthday parties?
  We strongly prefer to not participate in birthday parties. Typically birthday parties are in homes or other close quarter areas, children are extremely excited and rambunctious, and we are not "entertainers". All of which makes environments non-conducive to our members participation. However, that being said. Click here to contact us for information about attending your event.
